SkratchJams OC2 - Vay

My entry for OC2 theme.

Vay is a Free-Knight, a knight which holds no specific loyalty towards any Monarch. Free-Knights can be Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters, Assassins, Guards, etc. In Vay's case, she mostly does Guard, Transport and Mercernary work. She learned to fight through her Father who was a Knight in the land of Vendra but died in battle. With no one to help pay her family's expenses, she began to use her skills in order to bring money and food to her home as her mother is sickly and hard work is impossible for her and she cannot tend to Vay's two brothers and sister alone.

However their way of life was soon to be shattered. Little did Vay know that war was approaching her land as peace has begun to wane. Bickering between kingdoms is reaching a boiling point as power struggles, skirmishes and assasinations begin to occur all over the continent. And within this erupting chaos, an ancient evil has deemed it is time to fulfill its purpose, its original purpose.

A time and a half has passed since its burial and now it will rise. But...as water rising with the tide, a light will emerge to counter the coming darkness... A shining light.

Vay is trained in the use of Lances, Lanceblades and Swords. She is a sarcastic, cocky and a headstrong fighter yet a great comrade nonetheless with a strong sense of justice and honor.

This original character is part of a project dubbed Chronicles of the Free-Knight, a tribute I am designing to Shining Force.
